LABEL PROFILE

The brother and sister team Avram and Leida Gross, that are behind the label Dhufish, found inspiration from their Jamaican family heritage and island life during the 60’s, for the luxurious style of this collection. Images and memories of warm, crystal clear waters, bright colours, banana and mango trees, rich mahogany antiques and a sweet cool breeze are reflected in aesthetics of Dhufish.

The result is beautifully constructed one and two-piece silhouettes made from shimmering Italian fabrics in pink, navy, aqua and green. Solids include paintbox colours of fiery oranges, reds, canary yellows and stand out blues accentuated with exquisite gold hardware. The Dhufish label emphasises wearable garments with runway appeal, designed to make a woman feel sensuous and alluring without feeling exposed.

Their summer 2011/12 collection includes a selection of cleverly sleek and sexy A to D-cup bikini separates, alongside a designer line of UPF50+ jackets. These interchangeable separates allow the retailer a base for which to create the perfect colour story for their store. With an image reminiscent of Bond Girls past and present, Dhufish presents premium sun-protective jackets, by way of soft Italian fabrics and unique sublimated designs in limited edition runs. Never before have such elegance and style been seen in sun- protective wear. Dhufish is named after a fish found only in West Australian waters and is universally regarded amongst seafood connoisseurs as being one of the best eating fish in the sea.
