The worst fashion trend in the
past decade was:
Anything that was a 'trend'. People should be authentic and true to themselves at all times. Casting aside loved garments because someone tells you to each season is a representation of what is so ugly about this world we live in. If we have to pick only one thing, it would be the persistent trend in the media to glorify models over the very people who put clothing on their backs. Without the clothes they would be naked.
The greatest decade in fashion was:
For men: The 17th century during the reign of King Charles the 2nd . It was a time when men shone brighter than the women, they didn't always make the best decisions but they had the courage then to be free. We also appreciate the Tudor period for the introduction of inner structuring and the embryo of tailoring.
For women: Every decade, fashion has always been a woman;s smorgasbord (with the exception of the the 90's...)

ericaamerica: 'REVOLT' 07-08 is an ode to mans intrinsic war like instinct, the music that inspires us, our love for nature, gang imagery and authenticity.
'Dressage' by ericaamerica: 'Spun Like Gold' 07-08 is my love letter to my childhood,my Ma,my Pa and his equestrian background, mixed with all things Victorian and delicate that I love to this day.
What have been the highlights for you and your label in the past 12 months:
A total restructuring of our label and in doing that amazing, beautiful freedom. We make clothes as a form of artistic self expression only and have been designers for 15 years. Somewhere in the past five years we lost ourselves to the fashion machine and now we are breathing again. As soon as we returned to our original path our business has soared. We have had huge international growth, time for our beloved charity projects, time for art beyond fashion and time to enjoy our success.
