Inspired by handicrafts and childlike styling, designer
Peta believes that people take clothes too seriously.
She believes that they should be fun to wear and
make you happy. Utilising a unique approach to design
and manufacture, Petrafanella combines craft and
fashion to create a personal, nostalgic effect.
The label offers a deliberately naïve approach
to fashion, with inspiration coming from the spontaneity
and playful unselfconsciousness of children. This
ethos is manifested in a range of clothing featuring
rich colours, knits, textural surfaces and unstructured
layering.
